The Team

I was raised in the historical Black community of Browns Woods, MD. I always wanted to give back and do something for the community that did so much for me.   I'm a combat veteran, serving 6 years and 1 tour in Kandahar, Afghanistan.  I graduated from American InterContinental University with a Bachelors in Business Administration  I'm a father to two beautiful children.

Rodney Parker Jr.  provides over 15 years of historic preservation experience executing projects supporting local, state, federal, and Tribal  entities. Understanding the importance of collaborative research successful projects, Rodney is passionate about demonstrating those skills using science and technology to locate historical and archeological information and relaying that significant information to descendant communities. Graduating with a Masters in Anthropology, Rodney has performed extensive archeological research and ethnographic interviews in US, Europe and South America. Rodney will use his archeological and historical expertise to provide context to understand and interpret the communities keepsakes, heirlooms and artifacts.

I was born and raised in Anne Arundel County, on the Broadneck Peninsula. I am from the Browns Woods Community. I graduated from Anne Arundel Community College where I earned my associates degree, and then earned a Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics from UMBC. I am motivated by this foundation to instill social, and economic growth in our community. I am focused on encouraging my peers, and the younger generation to educate yourself, take advantage of opportunities, and use those skills acquired to enrich the community. 

I was born in Annapolis, Md.  I’m a Baltimore City Firefighter where I plan to promote through the ranks to one day become a Chief.  I’m a part of this organization because I saw something in my brothers and together we saw something in our community that needed change. Together I hope that we are able restore and preserve our history while building a better future for those to come.
